Welcome to the Columbia River Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) website. Our goal is to be the premier voice of America’s Army – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees and Families throughout the State of Oregon and Southwest Washington. We are dedicated to serving the entire AUSA family through a variety of activities, programs and projects. The Columbia River Chapter is one of approximately 130 chapters located throughout the world. We are proud to be the voice of the Soldier. Our patriotic volunteers contribute many hours of service in support of Soldiers and their families. AUSA is a private, non-profit organization which has been the public voice for all components of America’s Army, fostering public support of the Army’s role in national security and providing professional education and information programs. AUSA advocates for issues such as defense spending, pay increases for military and federal employees, health care, retirement benefits, and much more.
Your involvement is important to support our deployed Soldiers and their families. There are many issues that impact our AUSA family and it is imperative that our voice be heard in the hallways of the Capitol in Washington D.C. You can make a difference!
Membership is open to any Soldier, business or organization with a desire to support the men and women who proudly serve our country and preserve our freedom. We invite you to join us in our efforts to support our troops. Please feel free to contact Ms Linda Latham, Columbia River Chapter Administration Vice President, at 503 267-6895 or myself if we may be of assistance or answer any questions.
